The 2007 Mt Jefferson Cuvee is light ruby in color. It has a dusty and cinnamon-scented nose that is reminiscent of a village level Burgundy. It shows off the elegant style of the 2007 vintage with cran-raspberry and higher tone red-fruit notes on the palate. In typical Mt Jefferson style, the wine will gain some meat-on-the-bones in the short term. We believe this wine is a candidate for short term cellaring. But try it now with a foil such as simply prepared roasted poultry finished with pan juices.

Wine SpectatorLight and fragrant, with a distinct hibiscus note adding interest to the strawberry and guava flavors, lingering easily. Drink now through 2011.
