Ripe and round, exuding cherry, raspberry, oolong tea and underbrush flavors. The tannins are dense, leaving a dusty feel on the finish. A modern style. Best from 2016 through 2028. 4,416 cases made.
Opening aromas suggest underbrush, bay leaf, meat juices, plum and raisin. These carry over to the palate along with sour cherry, white pepper, cinnamon and espresso. Firm, drying tannins mark the close.
