This Malbec shows awesome purity, with layers of raspberry, blackberry and fig compote with notes of plum sauce, mocha, graphite and violets. The velvety texture and fresh acidity displays an exotic combination of flavors. This Malbec leaves a long, detailed finish and a remarkably elegant impression.
Wine Advocate
The 2004 Cadus Malbec spent two years in new French oak. Opaque purple-colored, it has an impressive bouquet of pain grille, spice box, mineral, blueberry, and blackberry. Full-bodied on the palate, it has layers of savory flavor, ripe tannin, and a pure finish. Give it 3-5 years of additional cellaring and drink it from 2012 to 2025.

An opulent, exotic style, with loads of fig, spice cake, Turkish coffee and boysenberry confiture notes supported by hints of bittersweet cocoa and graphite. The long, dark finish has solid grip. Drink now through 2012.

Sustainable practices incorporate organic standards and may exceed them and include ecologically and socially sound business practices such as fair pay for farm workers and energy conservation.
Screw Cap
Wines sealed with a screw cap as opposed to a cork, which experts report protects and preserves wine more effectively than does a cork, while also eliminating the possibility of cork taint.
No Sulfites
All wines naturally contain some sulfites, however wines that contain less than 10 parts per million sulfites are not required to include "Contains Sulfites" on their labels.

I still believe it is the simplest way to rate a wine, with its origins from grade school in the United States. A wine that I rate 90 points or more is outstanding (A), and worth buying. If I rate a wine 95 points or more (A+), it is a must buy.
