Color: Dark, almost opaque, deep red. Bouquet: Fresh, captivating floral aroma, mingled with notes of red berry fruit. Taste: Expressive; reminiscent of ripe plums, strawberries and citrus fruit; well balanced, with delicate tannins and well-integrated wood; hints of licorice, wild herbs and minerals are present in a stylish, lasting finish. Serving Suggestions: Perfect with paella, risottos or virtually any rice dish. Splendid with duck and game. For something a little different, try pairing this wine with lobster – as is the custom in the Catalan coastal regions of Spain.

Striking flavors of cranberry and pomegranate are accented by mineral, earth and chocolate flavors in this intense, chewy red. The tannins are firm but well-integrated, and the acidity is lively. A bit edgy but distinctive. Drink now through 2012.
