This wine was made from truly top-quality grapes of excellent ripeness, which is demonstrated from the beginning to the end of the tasting. The wine displays an intense colour with a bluish rim and a cherry-red core. Attractive, perfectly integrated fruit aromas come to the fore with power and concentration.
Wine Spectator
Black cherry and black plum flavors show focus and depth in this rich, polished red. Espresso and mineral notes add complexity, and there's a firm core of well-integrated tannins. Drink now through 2014.

The 2005 Emilio Moro is purple-colored with a complex bouquet of wood smoke, toast, crushed stone, and blackberry. Supple, ripe, and forward, this tasty wine will evolve for 1-2 years but can be enjoyed now through 2015.

Sustainable practices incorporate organic standards and may exceed them and include ecologically and socially sound business practices such as fair pay for farm workers and energy conservation.
Screw Cap
Wines sealed with a screw cap as opposed to a cork, which experts report protects and preserves wine more effectively than does a cork, while also eliminating the possibility of cork taint.
No Sulfites
All wines naturally contain some sulfites, however wines that contain less than 10 parts per million sulfites are not required to include "Contains Sulfites" on their labels.
